Spring House Farm nestles below Lose Hill in the beautiful Hope
Valley right in the heart of the Peak District National Park.
The farm is adjacent to Castleton, one of the most picturesque
villages in the Peak District, which boasts several spectacular caverns, a
Norman castle, magnificent scenery and some of the Peak Districts most
famous walks.
Spring House Farm has two self-catering holiday cottages. Each cottage is well
equipped and provides an ideal base to explore the delights of the Peak
District.
The cottages are situated in a tranquil location, set back half
a mile from the Hope - Castleton road and form two sides of an attractive stable
courtyard.
There are lovely views from the cottages to Mam Tor - the Peak
District's famous 'shivering mountain and to Lose Hill. Each cottage has
a private garden or patio area of its own and ample covered parking.
There is direct access from the doorstep over the fields to the
villages of Hope and Castleton or directly to Lose Hill ridge dropping down
into Edale making this the perfect base for walkers and ramblers.
Shippon Cottage is a spacious 19th Century shippon (dairy)
converted into a romantic luxury cottage for two complete with four-poster bed. It
has lovely views to Lose Hill. While it sleeps two adults there is the option
of extra beds or cots for children and infants.
Harry Eyre Cottage is a traditional cosy 17th Century farm
cottage with fabulous views of Mam Tor - Derbyshire's famous 'shivering
mountain'. It sleeps up to four people in two double bedrooms. Well behaved
dogs are welcome in Harry Eyre Cottage. |
