SHIPPON COTTAGE

The cottage is beautifully laid out.  Upstairs is one large open space incorporating a bedroom featuring a spectacular antique four poster bed plus an extra adjoining living room/bedroom with a sofa bed. The rooms can be separated by drapes giving flexibility for a third guest.

Downstairs offers the main sitting room opening on one side to a garden terrace and back lawn and, on the other side, into a beautiful Grade II listed courtyard. The terrace area has garden furniture and a barbecue.  Over the summer months the lawn has a gazebo exclusively for guests’ use.

The main sitting room has a cast iron gas stove giving a cosy feel on chilly evenings. The downstairs’ newly refurbished bathroom has a bath & shower, wash basin and toilet. (All towels and bed linen supplied). Meanwhile the kitchen, also recently refurbished is fully equipped with a four ring electric hob, grill and oven; a microwave; dishwasher; fridge freezer and washing machine. The kitchen has the full compliment of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The cottage is centrally heated.

There are TVs/DVDs upstairs and down, plus a Smart TV. The cottage has excellent ultra-fast 100mbps WiFi speeds.

One small/medium well behaved dog is welcome for a small charge.  £15 for one dog.  Ideally no puppies, young dogs under 18 months, in season or aggressive breeds please!

2025 Prices are – two nights £280; three nights £375 & four nights £450.   Rates for seven night stays vary through the year – please see the tariff page.  For payment we are electronic transfer.
